This dress was inspired by the Daleks from "Doctor Who." The color scheme is based on the Daleks in "Genesis of the Daleks."

I'm using yours as the inspiration for the my halloween costume. What did you use for the 1/2 spheres?

I am in awe of your talent. How did you adhere the bumps to the dress?

Would you mind telling me what pattern did you use for that dress? I'm planning a costume like this for my birtday (7th October) as it would go well with my pregancy :D.

Well, the skirt section is a pattern I made myself. It's made of seven panels, sewn together for the black underskirt and left separate in the silver. The panels aren't all the same, I tried to angle them so that it would stick out more in front like a Dalek does, but that ended up only working if I hold perfectly still. It will probably work better for you! :-) The bodice of the dress is from McCall's 5806.
