My Sabriel costume, Dragon*Con 2010
The bandolier has been partially remade since I last wore this costume. I originally tried to attach the bells cross-wise, as on the cover of "Abhorsen," but that didn't work very well, so now they're hanging, like on the cover of "Sabriel." Garth Nix told me at a book signing that the way they're attached on "Abhorsen" is more correct, but I'll let him be the one to figure out how to do it in real life.
